Midland JV boys faced a talented Warren De Le Salle team and were handed their first loss of the season 6-12.

Tucker Pomranky lead the Midland team with 3 goals. Jason Labby, Ryan Pomranky and Cal Stearns all added goals while Alvin Lopez, Sepp Pitt, Ryan Pomranky and Kyle Leigeb had assists in the loss. Dawson Studebaker and Conor Dunlap lead the squad in ground balls with 5 each.

Midland head coach, Chad Stearns added “We fought to the final horn adding 4 goals in the 4th quarter, but struggled with fundamentals and fell behind early. While we aren’t pleased with our performance, it’s good to see where we stack up against quality programs like De Le Salle.”

Midland plays host to Birmingham Friday April 12th at 5:30pm.
