Boys Varsity Lacrosse scored 7 goals in the 4th quarter to come from behind against Rockford but came up 1 goal short in a 15-14 loss.

Midland was led in scoring by Chase Mahabir (3G, 2A) and Ryan Sisitki (3G, 1A). Ryan Stadelmaier had 3G, Elliot Moore had 2G and 1A, Finn Moore had 2G, Mason Reed had 1 G, and Michael Andriot had 1A.

Jack Erickson made 14 saves in goal, Sisitki led the team in ground balls with 7, Joey Cullinane won 10 faceoffs, and Mahabir won 8.

Head Coach Joe Stadelmaier commented: “We made a lot mistakes and fell behind, but I was glad to see us battle back in the 4th quarter. Rockford is a quality program and capitalized on some of our poor decisions and penalities. All of it is fixable, and to compete like that against a team as good as Rockford says a lot about the quality of our team.”
