Boys’ JV Lacrosse wins tough battle with Grand Blanc

Midland boys’ JV lacrosse won a tough battle against Grand Blanc Thursday. Midland jumped out to an early lead but the Bobcats battled back keeping it close into the fourth. Midland added three goals in the fourth period to seal the hard fought victory.
Cal Stearns led all scoring with 3 goals and 4 assists. His midfield partner Ryan Pomranky scored 4 goals with one assist. Attackmen, Sepp Pitt, Jason Labby and Lars George added 3, 2 and 1 goals respectively.

Dawson Studebaker led all players with 8 ground balls, which proved to be the difference in the victory.

Midland next travels to Brighton in Saturday for a showdown with the Bulldogs.
