Midland boys’ JV hit their stride in a big win over Brighton Saturday, 16-4. Cole Rynalski dominated the face-off ‘x’ with an 80% win percentage. Midland had a flurry of goals lead by Lars George and Ryan Pomranky with 4 apiece. Cal Stearns and Sepp Pitt each scored 3 goals with Stearns also adding 2 assists. Jason Labby added 3 assists while Kyle Leigeb and Colton Boguszewski each scored 1 goal. Garrett Wilson also added 1 assist. Dawson Studebaker led all players with 10 ground balls in the decisive win.
Midland travels to Saginaw Valley League opponent , Bay City Western, on Monday.
