Midland boys’ JV lacrosse won handedly against SVL opponent, Bay City Western, Monday evening.

Head coach, Chad Stearns, commented, “we were short-handed due to injury and availabilty, so I was pleased to see the team work together and execute well. We’ve got our biggest games of the season coming up and needed a good outing against the Warriors.”
Midland was led by Cal Stearns who scored 5 goals with 2 assists and Lars George who had 3 goals and 1 assist. Connor Moening added 2 goals while Sepp Pitt and Garrett Wilson both had 1 goal and 1 assist. Xavier St. John, Mitchell Skoczylas, Conor Dunlap, Eddie Macnellis and Cole Rynalski all scored 1 goal apiece. Dawson Studebaker had an assist along with 5 ground balls. Dunlap led all players with 7 ground balls.

Midland travels to powerhouse, Hartland, Tuesday afternoon.
