Midland boys’ JV Lacrosse Defeats Lansing Catholic 14-4

Midland boys’ JV lacrosse defeated Lansing Waverly 14-4 Thursday evening in a rain-soaked affair. After a close 1st period, Midland pulled away and cruised to a solid victory.

Midland scoring was led by three 6-point outings from Sepp Pitt, Cal Stearns and Tucker Pomranky. Pitt tallied 5 goals with an assist, Stearns scored 4 goals with 2 assists and Pomranky scored twice adding 4 assists. Lars George scored 2 goals with 1 assist and Xavier St. John scored 1 goal. Jason Labby, Alvin Lopez, Garrett Wilson and Conor Dunlap all added assists. Dawson Studebaker controlled the ground ball game again with 5 gb’s.

Midland travels to Attwood Stadium to face Flint Powers next Wednesday.
