Boys Varsity Lacrosse lost to Powers Catholic 15-13 on Wednesday evening at Atwood Stadium in Flint. They were led in scoring by Ryan Stadelmaier (2 goals, 3 assists), Chase Mahabir (3 goals, 2 assists), Ryan Sisitki (2 goals, 2 assists), and Elliot Moore (4 goals). Also scoring were Ben Brueck (1 goal, 1 assist), Christian Gordon (1 assist), Michael Andriot (2 assists), and Mason Reed (1 goal). Sisitki led the team with 12 ground balls, Jack Erickson made 13 saves in goal, and Joey Cullinane won 15 faceoffs.

Head Coach Joe Stadelmaier commented: “Hats off to Powers. They outplayed us in just about every aspect of the game tonight. Early on we didn’t have an answer for their shooters, and we didn’t possess the ball well on offense. Falling behind by so many goals so early was tough to overcome. Powers played their hearts out. It’s a tough loss for us, but on the positive side it shows how much the overall level of play in the SVL is improving.”
