Boys Varsity beats Grosse Pointe North 19 – 10

Boys Varsity Lacrosse completed their regular season schedule with a 19-10 victory on the road against Grosse Pointe North. They were led in scoring by Elliot Moore with 4 goals and 2 assists. Ryan Stadelmaier had 3 goals and 2 assists, Ben Brueck had 3 goals and 1 assist, Mason Reed had 3 goals, Chase Mahabir had 2 goals and 1 assist, and Ryan Sisitki had 1 goal and 2 assists. Ethan Smith and Carson Gray each had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Ryan Pomranky had 1 goal. Xander Brooks led the team with 6 ground balls, Joey Cullinane won 15 faceoffs, and Jack Erickson and Brandon Kovacevich combined for 9 saves in goal.

Coach Joe Stadelmaier commented: “The boys played well today and got ahead early. That gave us a chance to work a lot of players into the game and get some of our less experienced guys more playing time. We have several first-year players on the team this year, and its been great to see their development from the beginning of the season to now.”
