On Thursday Girls Varsity opened the season with a 20-2 win over Davison. 

Alexa Wild and Jordyn Malace each had four goals and four assists to lead the scoring outburst. Ashley Neuenfeldt added three goals, while Madison Carroll, Grace Wilson, Morgan Goudie had two goals apiece. Chelsea Long, Alyssa Keptner and Megan Pnacek had single goals to round out the scoring for Midland.

Ella Lane and Elena Ordenes shared time in goal, totaling six saves in the win.
