Visiting Flint Powers beat Midland 11-3 in girls lacrosse on Thursday at Midland Stadium.

Jordyn Malace, Alyssa Keptner and Alexa Wild scored for Midland. Elena Ordenes made 14 saves in goal.

"I was super proud of the fight the team had. They played hard until the final whistle," Midland coach MacKenzie Lipps said. "I'm looking forward to making the necessary changes for when we match up with Powers again this season."

Midland is 1-1 and will play three games at Grand Haven on Saturday.
