The Midland boys’ co-op lacrosse team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 12-6 victory at Holt on Friday.

Elliot Moore scored six goals, Garrett Brillhart had five assists, and Cauy George added four goals.

“Garrett set things up, and Elliott and Cauy did a good job of finishing,” Midland coach Kurt Brillhart said. “We’ve been dealing with injuries and missing players, so I was very happy with the way we battled through adversity.”

Ben Brueck and Chase Mahabir also scored for Midland, while Moore, Mahabir and Mason Reed picked up single assists.

Ethan Richard led the defense with six ground balls, while Jacob Pokreifka made seven saves in goal.

Midland returns to action Monday at Davison.
