Lexa Wild finished with five goals and three assists to lead the Midland co-op girls’ lacrosse team to an 18-1 victory at Saginaw Heritage on Thursday.

Jordyn Malace added four goals, while Chelsea Long scored a pair. Morgan Goudie, Emma Rekeweg, Meggie Gandy, Alexis Whiteman, Gabby Wilson, Alyssa Keptner and Elena Ordenes each had single tallies. Goudie also had two assists, while Rekeweg had one assist.

Ella Lane made two saves in goal for Midland, which improves to 4-3 with the victory,

“The team is really starting to click at both ends of the field,” said Midland coach MacKenzie Lipps. “It’s great to see the chemistry and energy continue to grow and improve.”

Midland returns to action on Saturday with a match at Holt.
